Our Story

The land of many cellars Amarone della Valpolicella is the wine of North east Italy. Made in Valpolicella there are three areas, each with their own style of the wine; Valpantena, Classico and Est, the extended area. Valpantena, lighter and fruiter Classico is generally the aromatic, elegant version. and the Est area richer and higher alcohol level.

Our Glasgow Amarone restaurant is where it all started and, in some ways, we like to think of here like a Valpantena. We’re the fruity Italo-Glasgow one.

Just a few steps off Buchanan Street, our outdoor terrace is a magnet for shoppers when the sun makes even the slightest of appearances.

Shoppers aside, we’re close to the Concert Hall, Cineworld, The Pavilion theatre and Scottish Ballet and offer an early evening set menu to start your even, Italian style. In the city, there’s fast food everywhere. You can choose to slow it down a little and join us for Vongole or pizza carpaccio. Familiar flavours, all done well. Buon appetito
